Hello again!


well, It's been a while since I updated My Journal, and a lot has gone on this summer, so here we go:





Battop3


at the start of the summer Battop 3.0 (my HP tx1000 Tablet PC) suffered the same critical failure that most owners of this particular model have suffered... It seems that over time (and usually after HP's warranty on it expires) The heat from the CPU will cause the GPU to disconnect from the motherboard rendering the computer as useless as a paperweight.

So, I tried to order a new motherboard for it, but the website I found with the best price only accepted payments via PayPal... no problem there... I have PayPal... However, when I went to order it it said that they "could not accept payments at this time"... So, I thought I was screwed... so I did a Google search for another affordable motherboard and came across a video on Youtube that showed how to fix the GPU problem. I figured, what the Hell... Why not... If it works, I save $200, If not, I'm only out $18.01...

Guess what...

It Worked!

So now Battop3 is back to full functionality and my BF can have Battop2 back (I was using my old laptop, Battop2, while Battop3 was out of commission).

as some of you will remember from my last Journal Update (those who can remember all the way back to the 15th of July that is...lol) I Had talked about =dapride's removal of Gay Pride 2009 from the club gallery due to the comments some homophobic twat monkeys posted on it. after inquiring as to why they removed it and even a few notes to the DA Help Desk, they said they would re-post the pic...

well... that was a month and a half ago... they still have not re-posted it... I've re submitted it twice now and sent a few notes asking why the delay and I've gotten no response from them... I'm starting to think that they are just being childish and/or are sore losers for taking the case all the way to the help desk and not getting the response they were looking for...

I hope they re-post it soon, otherwise I may re-think my membership with that club...





I'm sorry


a *now former* watcher of mine (we'll call him Moe) and I seemed to have a difference of opinion on religion. Not surprising, My near death experience and Life observations have given me a unique perspective on the afterlife and the teachings of organized religion in general, so occasionally I bump heads with the highly religious types from time to time...
However, Moe (who is a very talented artist on here and has my utmost respect for his work) got really offended after reading some of the comments I made about religion while defending one of my pieces from hateful attacks. Moe sent me a note about how he was upset with my views, and when I tried to clear up some of my points and explain just what i meant, he became more pissed off at me and blocked me... I tried to apologize to him but he wouldn't listen...

So Moe, If by some chance your reading this, I'm sorry I offended you. I have nothing but respect for you as an artist and I think your work is Great. so we have a difference of opinion on religion...most people do. I don't see why we can't still be friends... I'm leaving the door open, I hope you can forgive me and put this behind us.
